Dear Clients and Friends:

We make reference to our newsletter sent earlier today.

It is very important to you to pay special attention to Section B, Sub Section III (I) of the decree that considers the activities of vehicle fleet maintenance services, supply of spare parts as “Essential”  and as a result they may remain open or perhaps reopen. In other words, that they should not be suspending their operations as a result of the decree that was published on March 31st of 2020.

Please note that the Mexican President today announced that he has spoken with the automotive manufacturing plants in the United States and he has agreed that he will authorize the reopening of the Mexican auto parts supply companies 3 or 5 days before the assembly plants reopen in the United States.

As a result, there appears to be a confusion or lack of clarity as to whether you can reopen now if you have shut down operations, continue open or wait until 3 or 5 days before the automotive assembly plants reopen in the United States.

Should you need elaboration or details on this matter, please contact us.

Sincerely,
Ernesto Velarde Danache, Inc.
