SUBJECT: AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING PREVENTIVE MEASURES COVID-19 As it is in the interest of the associations and index member companies, we inform you that a high-level government official from the Ministry of Economy and the National President of index, Luis Aguirre Lang hold a conversation a few moments ago. During the conversation the Mexican Ministry of Economy informed index that they are making with the Mexican Ministry of Health, the adjustments and corresponding details to the agreement issued today by said Ministry, in order to avoid confusion that could generate impacts on the export manufacturing industry, as long as the preventive measures ,published by the Federal Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Health , are applied with all the rigor and responsibility by companies, so that workers (from vulnerable groups: over 65, pregnant or lactating women, people with disabilities, people with chronic
non-communicable diseases or any treatment that generates suppression of the immune system) do not physically attend work centers. Therefore, the activities for the export
manufacturing industry will continue. The Ministry of Economy requests us to share this information with index membership, as a matter of urgency.

ASUNTO: ACUERDO POR EL QUE SE ESTABLECEN LAS MEDIDAS PREVENTIVAS COVID-19 Por ser del interés de las empresas y las Asociaciones index se hace de su conocimiento que la Secretaría de Economía se comunicó con este Consejo Nacional index, a través del Presidente Nacional, Luis Aguirre Lang, con la finalidad de compartirnos que dicha Secretaría está en comunicación con la Secretaría de Salud para hacer las adecuaciones y precisiones correspondientes al Acuerdo emitido hoy por dicha Secretaría, a efecto de evitar confusiones que pudieran generar impactos a la industria manufacturera de exportación, siempre y cuando las medidas preventivas publicadas por el Gobierno Federal, por conducto de la Secretaría de Salud, sean aplicadas con todo rigor y responsabilidad por parte de las empresas
para que los trabajadores de grupos vulnerables: mayores de 65 años, mujeres embarazadas o en periodo de lactancia, personas con discapacidad, personas con enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles o algún tratamiento que genere supresión del sistema inmunológico, no asistan a los centros de trabajo de manera física. Por lo anterior, las actividades para la industria manufacturera de exportación continuarán. La Secretaría de Economía, nos solicita hacer del conocimiento de la membresía esta información, con carácter urgente.
