Important News Preventive measures derived from the COVID-19 outbreak

Dear Clients and Friends:

Please be advised that in the event that Mexican Maquiladora (IMMEX) companies, in light that such are not considered essential companies (we can assist in order to determine if a specific company is or not considered as essential) are considering suspending operations (technical stoppage), which as of this moment it is not considered as mandatory, derived from the COVID-19 outbreak, we strongly recommend that an agreement be executed with its corresponding Union in order to properly document such suspension, in which the terms, conditions, duration, consequences, etc. are therein established, in its case.

This evening there will be an announcement by the Mexican Government on recommendations, guidelines and measures to be implemented.

Nos permitimos informarles que en el caso de que las empresas Maquiladoras (IMMEX) en razón de no ser una empresa esencial (nosotros podremos ayudarlos para determinar si una empresa especifica es o no considerada como esencial) están considerado suspender operaciones (paro técnico), el cual hasta este momento no se considera obligatorio, derivado del brote del COVID-19, recomendamos ampliamente se firme un convenio con su Sindicato correspondiente para documentar adecuadamente dicha suspensión, en el cual se establezcan sus términos, condiciones, duración, consecuencias, etc., en su caso.

Esta noche habrá un anuncio del Gobierno Mexicano sobre recomendaciones, guías and medidas a implementarse.
